The Rehearsal
I was about to start filming some things with my buddy Barnett was rehearsing his lines and I was getting everything ready to film, but then I realized I forgot the Lavalier microphone at home...but the exposure was perfect and my friend Zack told me to just film EVERYTHING so I thought I’d just toss some music over and use it as test footage for this new lens… But as I’m watching it on my TV something clicked and ran over to my computer and added some text, rearranged the clips and realized I had enough footage to tell a story…
Shattered
We had originally planned to do something completely different with a different poem, but because it was so gloomy out I changed it up (it's kind of my thing) and I told Barnett look up the song Rain by Breaking Benjamin. He had a listen to it and then I pulled a few lines from it and had him read it. I crammed myself in the car and began directing and filming. This kid has come a long way and I'm very thankful for his friendship and putting up with my "uh lets wing it" brain

This is a mini-documentary about a food pantry in upstate NY that has grown so much from a tiny room in their gym to the point where they need more volunteers and a bigger establishment, regardless of the pandemic they still went to work every week to feed those who needed help. This is their story.
